During the visit, the college's lecturers had the opportunity to explore the projects undertaken by Hai Minh Long and the dredging vessel Hai Duong 18. The collaboration aims to establish a joint effort between Hai Minh Long and the College to provide training programs in dredging techniques and vessel operation for the company's mariners.
This special collaboration signifies the first time Hai Minh Long has partnered with a professional educational institution in Vietnam to organize in-depth training for its mariners. Upon completion of the training program, there will be an examination conducted by the college. After successfully passing this examination, participants will receive certificates in dredging vessel operation and dredging industry knowledge. This initiative reflects Hai Minh Long's commitment to investing in the professional development of its maritime workforce and building a skilled dredging workforce with in-depth knowledge. In the future, Hai Minh Long plans to continue strengthening collaboration with the College and industry experts to provide advanced training courses for dredging vessel operators.
Ms. Tran Thi Hong Nhung – Director of Hai Minh Long Co., Ltd., expressed optimism about this collaboration: "We are delighted to collaborate with the College of Electromechanics and Hydraulics. By combining our expertise and experience with the academic knowledge of the College, we aim to create a robust training program to help our mariners thrive in the challenging field of dredging."
Agreed with Ms. Nhung, Mr. Ly Hung An – M.A., Deputy Principal of the College, anticipates a long-term and meaningful collaboration, not only benefiting Hai Minh Long's mariners but also contributing to the overall development of education and professionalism in the dredging industry in Vietnam
